Discipline and social responsibility are at the core of the Fishburne experience. But we also want to make sure our students are inspired by other aspects of life too. It starts on campus, where our family-oriented barracks and campus community offer healthy attractions without unwanted distractions. The same is true of Waynesboro, which boasts all the charms of an ideal small town. We’ve also limited the size of our student body so each student gets the personal attention—and oversight—that make him feel confident and helps his parents feel secure.
Although instruction in religion is not part of the FMS curriculum, Fishburne Military School Cadets are encouraged to practice their faith as part of their “whole man” education. Families who are concerned about access to services for their sons may rest easy. Fishburne’s campus is in the heart of small town America and directly touches five different denominations’ church properties. For students seeking services outside of walking distance, arrangements are made with faculty, staff or church representatives to ensure each young man is able to worship.
Below are links to the Churches closest to FMS Campus. This is, by no means, a complete list of opportunities to worship in the Waynesboro area.
