Fishburne took me by surprise with the quality of education and leadership it provides to boys. Everyone may wear the same uniform but the school boasts of supporting individuality. From the Cadets to faculty to staff, everyone has something great and important to contribute.
Advice for the Cadets: This is just the beginning. Life gets harder, but you become more empowered with every challenge you overcome. Establish unwavering integrity within yourself and never let it go (no matter how difficult life becomes). Oh, and every day is worth it. Take a breath and play in the garden!

Graduated from CSULB with a “double bachelors” degree in Creative Writing and Literature. Has 10+ years in the hospitality industry, with a paralleled career in marketing, social media, event planning, and public relations. Is co-founder and CMO of her farm and catering business, Azul Acres LLC. All tasks and projects are completed with a ridiculous amount of enthusiasm, persistence, and creativity at FMS since 2022.
Interests
I’m a California native. I have been riding horses since I was 5 years old, and have owned my (now retired) show horse, Rio, for 17 years. I enjoy reading (favorites are Ray Bradbury and David Sedaris), creative writing, hiking, gardening, farming, traveling, and dancing. In my free time, I enjoy eating anything my Chef-husband cooks, and spend quality time with family and friends. My favorite professional sport to watch is hockey. I am also blessed to be a Momma of two wonderful kids! My life is abundant and I am grateful for it.
