Leadership Education

Leadership EducationLearning to Lead, Daily

Leadership is not taught in a single class. It is developed through practice, responsibility, and reflection.

At Fishburne, Leadership Education is embedded across four years of JROTC instruction and reinforced through daily cadet life. Cadets learn how to lead and how to follow, how to make decisions under pressure, and how to take responsibility for their actions and their team.

As cadets advance, they are given increasing levels of responsibility within the Corps. They learn to communicate clearly, manage time, resolve conflict, and hold themselves accountable. Leadership becomes something they do, not something they memorize.

Leadership in Action

Leadership Education at Fishburne is built around responsibility, service, and ethical decision-making. Using a structured military framework, cadets learn how to lead themselves first, then others. Instruction blends classroom learning with real responsibility, helping cadets build confidence, accountability, and respect for others.
