Weekends at Fishburne offer Cadets a chance to step away from the daily routine and enjoy well-earned freedom. For those in good academic standing, weekends include town passes, approved leave, and optional activities that balance recreation, culture, and connection. From local outings to collegiate athletics and regional adventures, weekends are designed to help Cadets relax, build friendships, and return to campus refreshed and focused for the week ahead.

Weekends

There’s a lot to do around Waynesboro to relax and recharge. For cadets in satisfactory academic standing, weekends offer a chance to explore a variety of approved activities including paintball, bowling, church activities, and college football and basketball games.

Fishburne Military School has earned the US Army’s highest level of accreditation and maintained its designation as a JROTC Honor Unit With Distinction for over 40 years. We may also nominate qualified candidates to the United States Service Academies and host one of only four Summer JROTC programs in the nation, accredited by US Army Cadet Command.
