Cadet Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, VA) earned the James Hogg Award for his efforts in Soccer and Track.
-Nothing says spring like the crack of a bat on a baseball. That sound is something that Caissons baseball fans are hearing a lot of these days, as the Fishburne Military School baseball team has outscored its opponents so far this season 179:33. The team, which is 11-3, is looking to finish its season strong and make it into post-season play.
Fishburne Military School is the oldest and smallest of the military schools in Virginia for boys. Its college-prep curriculum is built upon the structure of an Army JROTC program. FMS is designated as a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction and may nominate qualified candidates to the United States Service Academies. Fishburne hosts one of only four Summer JROTC programs in the nation, accredited by US Army Cadet Command.
