  • Season recap and awards

    MVP: Sr. Silvio Dionsinotti:  Silvio finished his career with 132 wins. a 3x prep school qualifier and state placer. This year he finished 1 win away from being a National All American., He lead the team with most wins and pins this season.  He was a 2 year captain.

    Leadership Award: Sr. Logan Shiflett. Logan suffered a season ending injury in the first match of his senior career. A team Co-Captain, despite his injury he made every practice and showed great leadership in helping to motivate  the team from the sidelines.

    Hustle Award: Jr. Adam Bowles. Adam was one of the hardest workers on the team.What he lacked in talent, he made up for with heart and hustle. Regardless if it was practice or in a match, he went non stop every time out.

    Coaches Award: So. Alex Tackas. One of the most coachable young men I have ever been around. Alex sought out coaches for extra help and listed well to what was said.He placed 5th in the state and was a Prep School Wild card qualifier and was the conference runner up.

    Iron-man Award. Jr. Brennan McBride. Pound for pound the toughest wrestler on the team. A conference Champion, 3rd in the state, national prep qualifier where he went 2-2. He was the Conference champion.

    Most Improved Award: So. John Smith. In his first year of wrestling John wrestled for a championship in 3 tournaments. He was the conference champion and finished 1 win shy of placing at states. A gifted athlete that works hard in the practice room, and it shows.

    FMS Wrestlers Dominate in Harrisonburg
    McBride and Takacs Bring Home Gold and Silver 

    Cadet Brennan Mcbride (junior; Coatesville, PA) claimed the Gold while teammate Alex Takacs (sophomore; Walpole, MA) brought home the Silver from the Valley Dominator wrestling meet in Harrisonburg, VA.

    McBride and Takacs represented the Fishburne Military School well as McBride went 5-0  while and Tackas finished 4-0 on the day. Both young men were wrestling for the Panther Wrestling Club during the off-season at FMS.

    FMS' McBride Wins Big McBride Undefeated at Great 8
    Messiah College Great 8 Duals - Mechanicsburg, PA

    FISHBURNE JUNIOR Brennan McBride was undefeated in leading the Panther Wrestling Club (Staunton, Va) to a share of the team championship. Facing teams from PA and MD, McBride was 1 of 2 Panther wrestlers to go unbeaten on the day. He did it in dominating fashion recording 5 pins against stiff competition.   Brennan wrestled aggressively and smart and created opportunities to put himself in good position to pick up the pins.

    He represented the Caissons well.
