Military School scholarships for veteransFishburne Military School is proud to partner once again with the NewDay USA Foundation and the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) to provide a quality, structured education to the the children of US Military members who have been wounded or killed as a result of their service. These American Heroes gave all for their nation; Fishburne Military School, NewDay USA, and AMCSUS are dedicated to providing their children with a quality education.

Founded by Rob Posner, FMS Class of 1987, the NewDay USA Foundation is dedicated to serving those who have served their country.

NewDay USA’s generous scholarships provide financial assistance (up to $20,000 per year for up to four years) to qualifying families of veterans and service members who have sacrificed so greatly on behalf of our nation.

FMS Discounts for Military Families

In addition to the NewDay USA scholarship, Fishburne Military School also offers tuition discounts to families of Veterans. Partial discounts of $2500.00 per year are also offered directly by Fishburne to sons of active duty military service personnel, including all of the armed services, the National Guard, and all Armed Forces Reserve Units; sons of veterans who have retired from any of the Armed Forces, National Guard, or Armed Forces Reserve Units after twenty years (or more) of active military service.

VA Benefits for Dependents of Disabled Veterans

Fishburne Military School has been approved by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, State Approving Agency to provide education and training to eligible students under Chapter 35 of Title 38, U.S. Code (Veteran’s Administration Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program). Fishburne Military School is the oldest and smallest of all military schools for boys in Virginia. Its college-prep curriculum is built upon the structure of an Army JROTC program. FMS is designated as a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction and may nominate qualified candidates to the United States Service Academies. Fishburne hosts one of only four Summer JROTC programs in the nation, accredited by US Army Cadet Command.
