Can an introvert teaching science make a difference in a student’s life? I certainly hope so. As the Earth, Physical and Life Sciences teacher here at Fishburne, I want to see the light in your eyes when you understand a point we’ve been discussing in my class. While learning requires effort and commitment, it should also be engaging and at times even fun. Along with knowledge, that’s what I hope to bring to class every day. That, along with structure, fewer gender distractions, compassion, and caring, makes Fishburne a place for every student to succeed.
