I earned a Bachelor of Science in Math from James Madison University.
INTERESTS
Born and raised in Martinsville, VA, John is a 1998 graduate of James Madison University with a BS in Math. From 1990 – 2000 lived and worked in China and returned to work with international students in the US for 5 years. In 2006 he returned to China and worked with students for the next 5 years. In 2011 he married Annette and returned to Virginia. He worked in Albemarle County Public Schools for three years and started working at FMS in 2014 where in addition to teaching math he served as Head Swim Coach and Scoutmaster for 6 years.
